Cast Iron Bridges
Reinforced Concrete Bridges
Kinclaven Bridge across the Tay is of mass concrete that may have had some form of reinforcement but is faced in stone, completed in 2005. Two reinforced concrete bridges of unconventional design are by Sir E Owen Williams, at Findhorn and Montrose, the latter demolished c2005. Howford Bridge at Ballochmyle opened in 1962 and was listed just under ten years later (is this a record?).
