Your Society’s annual “Burns Doo” will be held on Saturday 3 February 2024 in Beechwood Scout Hall, Newhouse, Stirling, FK7 9HQ, commencing at 11:00 AM, ending at 3pm. Lunch is provided. Price £10 payable on the day in cash. We will hear short talks from Miles Oglethorpe on Giant Cantilever Cranes of the Clyde, Nina Baker CBE on rope-making in Scotland and Jim Mitchell on his recent work for the Northern Lighthouse Board. If you have a presentation to share please email mark.watson@hes.scot and bring it on a memory stick. We will also address financial aspects of last year’s AGM.
