Your Society’s annual “Burns Doo” will be held on Saturday 3 February 2024 in Beechwood Scout Hall, Newhouse, Stirling, FK7 9HQ, commencing at 11:00 AM, ending at 3pm. Lunch is provided. Price £10 payable on the day in cash. We will hear short talks from Miles Oglethorpe on Giant Cantilever Cranes of the Clyde, Nina Baker CBE on rope-making in Scotland and Jim Mitchell on his recent work for the Northern Lighthouse Board. Our Industrial Archaeology conference took place in Caithness in June 2018 in partnership with Historic Scotland Engine Shed and SVBWG .
